There are seven strange buildings in the United States.

It’s always fun to look at houses that aren’t the norm. People are interested in unpredictable design because it breaks ideas about how things should be. Their design is more than just straight lines, because nobody likes things to be the same all the time.

Here are the seven strangest buildings in the United States. You should put them on your list of things to do.

1. The biggest basket building in the world is in Newark, Ohio.

This basket isn’t like any other; it’s huge, like something from a fairy tale. It’s impressive that it’s seven stories tall and used to be the headquarters for the Longaberger Basket Company. Its inside is just as beautiful as its outside, with marble floors and soft, fancy furniture. We love it because it doesn’t feel like a business office.

2. The Kansas City Public Library in Missouri’s Kansas City

It looks like a huge copy of the library. This is the front of the Kansas City Public Library in Kansas City, Missouri. The hard wrapping of the 22 most famous books in literature is what makes this beauty stand out. It wouldn’t be fair to take one person’s view into account, so the city government held a poll and let the people decide.

3. The Wonderworks in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee

You are crazy about virtual worlds and want to see pictures from them in real life. There are a lot of computer images to look at at Wonderworks in Pigeon Forge, TN. The building doesn’t look real, but it is. It shouldn’t have been there in the first place, but it is. It will twist and turn in different directions. Enjoy more fun as the things that happen in your daily life change in interesting ways that will make you think.

4. The cadet chapel at the US Air Force Academy in Colorado

This famous building is right for an air force school whose students aren’t very good. Large pieces of rock that stand 46 metres tall make up every inch of it. The people who live nearby are proud of this building, and it also honours the American Institute of Architects by giving them the prestigious National 25 Year Award.

5. Mammy’s Cupboard in Natchez, Mississippi

The form of this one-of-a-kind sculpture is a tribute to southern life. The owners have taken good care of the building, even though it has been there for a long time. It’s a pleasure to look around this town if you ever get the chance.

6. The Geisel Library at UCSD in San Diego, California

The University of California, San Diego, has another library on our list. The library looks like a maze. The sturdy outside doesn’t make me think of a library, but it is lovely. Inside, you can read more than 7 million books and praise this great builder.

Today, California is at the top of our list. Those who want to see another stunning building should check this one out. The Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles is a huge, smooth steel structure that looks like a ship. It’s very traditional inside, but it was made very well.
