A couple took in a tiny kitten from Maine called Maine Coon. When he grows up, he will become the world’s longest cat.

When Guinness Records told Stephy Hirst from Australia that her cat Omar might be the world’s longest cat, she didn’t believe them at first. She thought Omar was a big cat all along.

This Melbourne-based couple didn’t think much of Omar’s size when they took him in as a pet. It turns out that he looked just like his siblings. But today, he broke the Guinness World Record for the World’s Longest Cat, so he did it again. There was no way that Stephy Hirst thought Omar would grow so big. She is the cat’s mother.

There was a 19-pound cat that we thought would come.

Before he was even a year old, he was able to do that. That’s when we realized that he wasn’t done yet.

It took a while for Omar to grow up, but then he just kept growing and was 22 pounds when he was one year old. The pompous cat now stands 47 inches tall and weighs about 30 pounds.

A popular Instagram account called “Cats of Instagram” shared photos of Omar. This made him popular. When the cat gets the attention of the Guinness Book of World Records, that’s when the record is broken. Images are from Omar Mainecoon.

All of Stephy Hirst’s friends want to come over and see her cat. Is this picture Photoshopped? They say that Then they see him in person.

There are some downsides to being the world’s longest cat as well. The family’s bed is too small to fit the whole family on it. This is what Stephy said: “He sleeps on the couch because he takes up too much space on the bed.” He wants us to cuddle and pet him all night long. ” Watch this cute, different cat in the video below:
