Adele was giving one of her epic Weekends with Adele performances at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas. She spiced things up while singing “When We Were Young” by walking through the excited crowd. Then she saw a man waving his phone in front of him.

Adele stopped singing when she saw the man. She turned to the crowd and said, “When I walk through the crowd, I wish you could see what I see. I just see little bits of stories about people. There was a man, and he was just standing there with his phone in his hand. I think that’s his wife on the phone, and I don’t think she’s here. It touched me.”
When the singer saw the man showing a picture of his late wife, he said, “It looks like you’re here by yourself. I’m so sorry for your loss.” I didn’t understand what you were showing me until I got there. Sorry, but when I walk through, it’s like I see little pieces of people’s lives, and it’s so wonderful.”
