The 45-year-old actress may always be known for her part as Cher Horowitz in Clueless, but she’s also known for being a vegan and raising her children in unusual ways. In a show, Alicia Silverstone talked about how she and her son Bear get along so well.

Trying to keep her baby close
Silverstone said in a podcast that her 11-year-old son, Bear, still sleeps with her. “I’m a loving mama. I believe in love and I believe in nature, but our society is afraid of nature and love, she said, adding that she’ll probably get in trouble for saying this in public, but she doesn’t really care.
She really is like a mother bird.
Silverstone fed Bear food that she had already chewed when he was a baby. “He literally crawls across the room to attack my mouth if I’m eating,” she wrote with a picture of Bear at 10 months old on her blog.
Bringing up her son to be a vegan
Alicia is well-known for being a vegan who cares about animal rights. She also feeds her son only plant-based foods. Bear and Silverstone like to cook together, and Silverstone thinks that letting Bear help makes him more aware of where and how food comes from.
She is good at co-parenting and spends as much time as she can with her son.
Back in 2011, Silverstone and Christopher Jarecki were happy to welcome Bear into the world. Even though she filed for divorce 7 years after they met, they are still on good terms and do a great job of sharing parenting. In an interview, Silverstone said that they see and talk to their son every day.
Bear and his mum spend their free time together cooking, doing yoga and going for long walks. They even take baths together sometimes.
