On a post of an athlete finishing a race with blood on her one-piece swimsuit, Xavier Coppock said, “Not the best photo of Emma. I’m sure they can crop it a little better.” At that exact moment, a long argument broke out.

British athlete Emma Pallant-Browne participates in triathlon, duathlon, and aquathlon. She got a silver medal at the 2022 World Long Distance Triathlon Championships. This is one of her most recent accomplishments. She won two medals at the prestigious Ironman 70.3 race (silver in 2017 and bronze in 2022), as well as a gold medal at the European Championship in the same year.

Emma came in fourth place at her most recent multi-sport event. Just a few days after the woman won the Duathlon World Championship, the PTO Tour European Open was held in Ibiza.

On the other hand, triathlete Xavier Coppock chose to say something about a photo of Emma that was posted on the official profile of the competition that took place in Spain. In one of the pictures, she is running with a red mark on her because she is on her period.

Even though we think the player didn’t mean to say anything bad, his words caused a stir in the media. Emma, on the other hand, was quick to answer. She wrote a few lines about him in the same magazine and tagged him.

The athlete put the same picture on her page five days later. She sent a very important message through the explanation. “Celebrating the great women in sports and the great guys who support them. “I’m humbled by how many messages I’ve gotten from both men and women about how unglamorous it is to race when you have your period,” she said.

In the post, she talked about the things that led to this happening. She wore light pink so as not to attract the sun’s rays, and when she fell off her bike, the stain became more obvious. She squirted water on the stain at the water stops, but it didn’t work.

“This is a sport for women, and the more walls we can break down, the better. When you’ve been working for a long time, you end up with a shot like this, but the fact that you want to fix it means there’s something wrong with it. She said, “I share it because there’s nothing wrong with it; it’s just how things are.”

“So, if you have a picture like this, keep it, love it, and remember how you did on a hard day, because one day you might be able to help someone else,” she said as a powerful ending to her message.

The original post was taken down, but Emma’s, which she put on her page, is still there. This athlete gave a lot to talk about. She turned a small comment into a really powerful message about menstruation. It makes us think about normal things that we shouldn’t treat as taboos.
