Elephants are known to be very smart and social, so when it comes to their babies, these majestic animals are overprotective and can do anything to keep them safe, even if they come from a different herd.
After a few months, an elephant calf got stuck in a concrete hole in Thailand. Its mother was desperate to get it out. But she can’t do it on her own, so she begs for help because her baby’s life is at stake. The elephant’s cry for help brought together a group of people who didn’t know what was happening. But soon found out that the huge elephant is trying to tell them something.
Elephant mom got too close to an electric fence. Since she passed out, people quickly turned off the power and help her get back. Only then did they figure out what the elephant was trying to do. Following her senses, the elephant led rescuers back to where her baby was stuck. This is how it worked:
It took hours for the little calf to get out of the muddy hole. So the rescuers had to hurry up and get it out, but it wasn’t an easy job. When the baby elephant was scared and tired, he started to panic, and things could not have been worse. It took the rescue team a long time to dig around the hole, but they had to be careful not to hurt the calf.
With the elephant mom’s help, the group of people finally made it to the stuck baby. Even though he’s worn out, the little boy still manages to pull himself out of the hole. He was still confused after he was found because he couldn’t see his mom. As soon as he saw her, he ran to her. He knew he was safe again.
