Flamingos conjure up images of majestic birds that are impossible to equal in terms of grace and poise. Even so, juvenile flamingos, despite their majesty, are awkward. And this 4-day-old baby’s attempts to act like an adult are proof of it!
The adorable baby bird was caught on camera while attempting valiantly to become an adult, only to discover that the task is far from simple. Even if the adorable baby flamingo fails to achieve its aim, the interned shower it with worldwide adulation.

At Pittsburgh’s National Aviary, a newborn flamingo was filmed as it attempted to stand on one leg, exactly like its elders. This technique, however, is far more difficult than it appears, and as a result, the adorable little thing fails miserably. Instead, it stokes millions of people’s fears and anxieties.

A lovely picture of a young flamingo was initially shared on Facebook by the National Aviary. The description adds that the visitors and workers at the National Aviary are “oohing and ahhhing” over this tiny bird.

“We all go through an ‘awkward stage,’ and flamingos are no different!” says National Aviary employee Robin Weber in an interview with Bored Panda. Being a kid is tough, but you just have to keep trying, like a flamingo baby. This is all yours!
