At Drai’s Beachclub in Las Vegas on Saturday, the Grammy-winning singer found herself in a situation that many musicians have had to deal with in recent years: having things thrown at them without any shame. Cardi is a force to be reckoned with, which is why she couldn’t let this go. After a moment of realising what had happened, Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar Cephus, better known as Cardi B, stopped singing “Bodak Yellow” and pointed her microphone at the fan in the front row who had splashed her with alcohol.
Cardi B quickly got back on her feet and went on with the show like nothing had happened. At the same time, security was already showing the fan who dumped her cup on the artist the door.

Reports say that this wasn’t the only time this weekend that Cardi B threw a microphone to get back at someone. A video that is now going viral says that during Cardi B’s show at Drai’s Beachclub the night before, she got angry not at a concertgoer but at a DJ who cut off her songs too soon. She responded to the problem by throwing her microphone at the DJ and leaving the stage.

Cardi B is not the only artist to have had things thrown at them during shows, though. Bleta Rexha, who is better known by her stage name Bebe Rexha, was performing recently when someone threw a phone at her, hitting her in the face and splitting her eyebrow, which needed stitches. Harry Styles had a similar thing happen to him, but instead of a phone it was a Skittle that hit him in the eye.
Maybe Pink’s experience with a fan throwing a bag of ashes on stage a couple of weeks ago is the one that takes the cake.
