Teigen, who is 37, and Legend, who is 44, haven’t told anyone about their fourth child until now. The couple just told everyone they had a baby boy five months after their third daughter was born. Chrissy told everyone the good news and gave all the details in an emotional post that gave us chills.
A surrogate gave birth to the child.
On Monday, June 19, baby Wren Alexander Stevens was born to the couple and their family through a surrogate. The 37-year-old model said the name is a special way to honor Alexandra, the woman who held their child.
Chrissy showed her more than 42 million Instagram fans the first pictures she took of her baby. She also shared a long message in which she talked about the surrogacy process and how moving it was to see Alexandra, “the most amazing, loving, and compassionate surrogate,” give birth to her child.
Now, everyone in her family feels whole.
The couple already has a 7-year-old daughter and a 5-year-old son. In January of this year, they had their third child, Esti Maxine.
Teigen said in her post that she ”always wanted to have four kids” This means that her lifelong dream has finally come true.
They felt the terrible pain of losing something.
Even though this couple has a perfect family now, things haven’t always been so easy for them. In fact, they lost their boy Jack when she was 20 weeks along with him.
And in her post, Teigen honoured her beloved Jack by saying, “Our hearts and our home are officially full.” And to our Jack, we know that both of their angel kisses are from you.”
She said that after giving birth to Jack, she didn’t think she could “carry any more babies.” But after some time and therapy, she told John she wanted to ”try to carry just one more time.” So, they tried IVF again, and that’s how she got pregnant and had Esti.
And it’s interesting to note that Chrissy got pregnant at the same time as Alexandra for a while since Esti and Wren are only five months apart.
Even though Chrissy is a great mom, she has been attacked online and even “mom-shamed” in the past. But she dealt with the problem in the smartest way possible.
