Most people like to have dogs or cats around them, but there are some people who make a weird choice when it comes to getting a pet. There are a lot of things in this world that sound like fairytales, like living with a dog who thinks she is a fox. Today we show you Juniper, the fox, who is a pet. It’s as real as it can be.
When Juniper was just a few weeks old, she was bought from a farm by a man. Her fur mom has been living in the Florida Panhandle with her since then. It has grown a little over the years, with “a Malamute mix dog named Moose, a young male Fox named Fig, and two Sugar Gliders named Petunia and Peach, and a lot of reptile friends.” The fox is still the heart of the family. And of course, Juniper is a superstar because she has almost 3 million followers on Instagram.
But how does this fox get into the hearts of so many? Well, if her big smile, her happiness, or her love story with Moose aren’t enough, I don’t know what else might be. I don’t know.
Because many people want to get their hands on one, Jessica says that it’s not as easy as you think. “Foxes have a very strong prey drive,” which means that they will try to hunt because of their natural instincts. Juniper’s mom told Bored Panda that. In this way, Juniper and all the foxes pounce when they hear sounds that sound like a mouse under the snow or ground.
Moose and Juniper’s adorable friendship stole the hearts of a lot of people, too.
Mom: “Juniper is in love with Moose and tries to get as much of his attention as possible.” It was only when Juniper was about five weeks old that I brought her home. As soon as she ran up to him with her tail wagging and crying, they became friends right away. Moose was raised with all kinds of animals.
