Never forget that a mother will do anything to save her children. This is also true for this hedgehog, which was hit by a car and taken to the Israeli Wildlife Hospital in Ramat Gan. Even when it seemed like the little thing had no chance, she had 5 reasons to keep fighting: the vets ran some tests and found out she was pregnant!
Facebook has more info. The mother hedgehog got better quickly and gave birth to five tiny babies. The vets made sure they were all healthy and took care of them. They will be put back into the wild, where they belong, in the end.
