In recent years, more and more people have had plastic surgery. This kind of surgery is done by surgeons all over the world. But some people aren’t meant to, and the results can be very bad. The same as with Yulia Tarasevich.

The woman who came in second place at the Miss Russia pageant chose to have a cosmetic procedure that went wrong. But that made it so she couldn’t close her eyes or even smile. She went to court to get justice from the doctors. You wouldn’t believe how she used to look.

One of the most important things in life is to feel good in your own skin. It doesn’t matter if that means being bigger, skinnier, taller, shorter, bald, covered in hair, or anything else related to looks.

We all might not be happy with some things about ourselves, but in the end, it’s important to feel at ease and accepted for who you are. The key is to accept yourself and not try to get other people to accept you.

Plastic surgery

Some people deal with problems by changing their looks and going to the gym, but others, like Courtney Cox, think there needs to be a deeper change.

CNN says that liposuction has passed breast augmentation as the most popular type of plastic surgery worldwide. But, according to data from the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS), there are growing worries about breast implants and whether they could cause cancer.

About 15% of all cosmetic surgeries done worldwide are “contouring” operations. These use suction to get rid of extra fat. Also, the number of women getting breast implants dropped to about 13%.

At the same time, just like with clothes or interior design, there are always new styles in cosmetic surgery. ISAPS released a survey results showing that more than 30 million surgical and non-surgical procedures were done in 2021.

Not only is it getting more common, but since the Covid-19 pandemic, the number of cosmetic surgeries has gone through the roof.

More than 33% more surgeries will be done between 2017 and 2021. Botox was the most common, and its use increased by more than 54%.

But, as many people may know, the steps are not easy or safe. The report’s author, Dr. Gianluca Campiglio, said that a type of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, which is a cancer of the immune system, is linked to breast implants.

Many different kinds of plastic surgery can be done. As was already said, it’s not always safe, and you should always think it over. Also, if you decide to do it, you shouldn’t just go to anyone. You should go to a professional who knows how to do it. Yulia Tarasevich is someone who knows what can happen if you aren’t careful.

Yulia Tarasevich couldn’t sleep after her surgery went wrong and turned into a nightmare.
East2West News said that the former Miss Russia runner-up chose to get plastic surgery with someone she thought was a surgeon at a top clinic. The surgery cost more than $4000

But in the end, it was a tragedy.

Last year, the Russian beauty queen, who is 43 years old, went to a specialist in the Russian city of Krasnodar to change some things about her look. The New York Post said that the beauty queen told Channel 1 that the surgeon made her “beautiful, healthy face” look like something out of a nightmare.

“When I met them, I had a nice, healthy face. Tarasevich, a mother of two, said, “I just wanted to fix some changes that come with age.” “But it’s too bad that I got sick.”

Tarasevich had a facelift, a blepharoplasty to get rid of extra skin on his eyes, and a cheek fat reduction. She was “disfigured” by the surgery, though. For her eyes not to die from necrosis, which is when body cells die, she had to have an emergency surgery done by another doctor. Tarasevich was so upset that she couldn’t even close her eyes.

The New York Post said that she told Channel 1: “I have scars in my cheeks where they tore out all my tissue.” “I can’t close my eyes, and I can’t smile. I can’t move my top lip up. One side of my face doesn’t work at all.”

“First, I went to the surgery quietly because all of my tests were good,” she said. “Second, because I had plastic surgery before this, I had rhinoplasty, and it went perfectly, with no genetic problems.”

Yulia Tarasevich had to pay $27,000 for a second surgery.

Tarasevich said that the two doctors, Dr. Andrey Komarov and Dr. Omar Khaled, didn’t do their jobs during the first surgery. She complained and said she had scleroderma, a rare genetic disease that causes the skin to harden. However, as the probe went on, it became clear that there was no proof that Tarasevich had the disease.

“First of all, I went to the surgery quietly because all my tests returned fine. “Second, I’ve had plastic surgery before and did rhinoplasty. It went perfectly, and it wasn’t because of my genes,” the Russian beauty queen said.

“The surgeons made me feel like I was the only one to blame,” she said. “The doctors who messed up my face took no blame for what they did. I made the decision to go to court.”

She said that the cost of the follow-up surgery was $27,000. But Dr. Omar Khaled said that it was “exaggerated.”

Even so, the Russian Investigative Committee began to look into the surgery and the two doctors involved.

“A forensic medical examination has been set up to find out how bad the health damage is,” spokeswoman Anna Pushkina said. “Other patients who may have been hurt by bad care at this clinic are also being found.” “The criminal case is still being looked into.”

Tarasevich went on Instagram right before the investigation started and thanked her fans for their support.

“Hello, everyone. I’d like to say a big thank you to everyone who has helped me. “Thank you from the bottom of my heart to each and every one of you,” she wrote.

Surgeon could face six years in jail

Later, the Prosecutor’s Office of the Krasnodar Territory charged Dr Andrey Komarov over the process, leaving Yulia Tarasevich in a living nightmare.

The office said he offered services that “did not meet the requirements of consumer health and safety” as it caused severe bodily harm, The Sun reported.

He might face up to six years in jail and a fine of around $5,000 if convicted.

Moreover, Dr. Komarov is also facing a legal case, as Yulia Tarasevich claims to have suffered from depression after the surgery. Moreover, as mentioned, she said she could not close her eyebrows or even smile as her face is asymmetrical.
