A cape is not worn by every hero. This is the story of a brave young child who was hailed as a hero after miraculously saving the life of a helpless creature. Belal, a young kid in his early teens, risked his own life to save a fawn from drowning. Floods are a regular sight in Bangladesh during the rainy season, and they are exceedingly harmful to both humans and wildlife.
A small fawn was separated from its family when excessive rain caused rapid flooding of a river in Noakhali, Bangladesh. The small one was really fortunate because a young lad observed it being washed along with the stream and leapt in to save the fawn without hesitation.

Both the boy and the deer eventually made it to the banks unharmed. A photographer who witnessed the miraculous rescue got it on film, and the photographs speak for themselves. The photographer, Hasibul Wahab, and everyone else who witnessed the incident were surprised to see the youngster risking his life, and they even feared for his safety at one point.

“He was such a brave youngster—the river was so full of water and it was high tide that we thought he may drown,” Wahab said in an interview.

My friend was even willing to jump into the river to save the youngster. But he made it, and we thanked the youngster when he returned. This scenario was only observed by five to seven people, yet it was a spectacular sight.
