I have returned! Please take a look at these images of wildlife in Costa Rica, Ecuador, and the Atlantic forests of Brazil.
Machu Picchu is one of Peru’s most famous landmarks, and it lives up to the hype! Awe-inspiring in its scope, majesty, and design, it is a sight to behold. Because of this, it should come as no surprise to you that that was my final day’s plan! My entire Peru trip was devoted to photographing birds, one of my favorite things to do.
Photographers and ornithologists alike long to visit Peru. It is, after all, home to some of the world’s most unusual and beautiful bird species and landscapes. Every aspiring bird photographer’s bucket list should include a stop here. In Peru, the world’s most beautiful avian treasure is waiting to be discovered.
Even more astounding, Peru is home to more endemics than any other country on Earth! Every day, the number grows. Besides the well-known heritage site Machu Picchu, I had to show you the birds Peru has to offer!
I used my Canon 1D X Mark II and 600 mm lens to take all images.
