People see this all the time, and it’s both heartwarming and sad at the same time. There are, however, a lot more chances that you’ll meet a puppy or a cat than you will meet a wild animal. Because of this, you won’t see a little boy and a huge stingray having a special friendship.
Besides that, the boy’s friend lives in the sea. But Joel doesn’t let that stop him from having fun with his big friend. This isn’t true at all. The little boy waits on the dock every morning for his best friend. So, the little person gives it some fresh seafood in return!
In Gran Rey, a small fishing village with about 4,000 people in the Canary Islands, Spain, the strange thing happened. Quiet places where people still live in close contact with wildlife. And because kids are also fishing on the steps near the village’s harbor, the bycatch usually ends up in the water, which draws in bigger fish, like stingrays.
Even though watching the little boy give treats to such a big man is a sight to see. Fortunately, a tourist took a picture of the fantastic moment and put it on Youtube. That footage has already been seen more than 60 million times.
Even though it’s heartwarming to see Joel feed and pet his new friend, you still need to know that these are wild animals. Even though stingrays aren’t usually aggressive, one wrong move could be fatal.
