He told people the truth about a lie he told her right before she died in an honest interview with People. “Of course I told her it was fine,” he said in the hearing. “It’s okay if you’re tired and want to see your grandparents. “You go.” That was all the truth. I lied when I said, “Don’t worry about me; I’ll be fine.” He then said through tears, “I had to lie, but she knew it.” “OK is a long way off.”
John Scheider says he thinks he will be with Alicia forever. “That was the last thing I told her: ‘I love you so much, and I have many very long-term plans for you,’” he said. “That’s true, because I believe eternity is a very long time.” I expect it to happen.
