This fascinating species is unique in that it is both adorable and rarely breeds. Female pandas have only a few days to breed each year. They can also only have one cub. These lovely critters are well cared for and kept safe from extinction at this research institution. They are a critically endangered species. And, thanks to such facilities, their numbers are steadily increasing. So having these areas where the lovely creatures are secure and safeguarded is just fantastic.
