With two brand-new cars, Shaq surprises an 11-member family, but his kindness doesn’t stop there.
Among the most well-liked basketball players of all time is probably Shaquille O’Neil. The sportsmen is well-known for his generosity in addition to his skill on the field!
Many anecdotes have surfaced over the years demonstrating Shaq’s generosity. He frequently leaves waitstaff very large gratuities and pays bills for other patrons at restaurants.
Nine siblings make up the well-known Collins Kids Instagram account. Shaq is known to be friends with the family and visits them frequently to spend time with them.
Run by Karissa, a young mother of nine, the Instagram account has gathered over 350k followers. Over the Instagram account, Shaq had been talking with the family. Moreover, he even visited the young family at the start of this year.
He spoiled and spent a lot of time with the kids during his first visit. He came in and played “Watch ya mouth” with the kids, loved on them, encouraged them, entertained them, took pictures with them, gave them gifts, encouraged us as parents, and just showed us so much love, Karissa recounted in a post she published later about the visit.
And although the family found this tender exchange to be sufficient, the great athlete had other ideas. He reconnected a few months after their first meeting and surprised the family with dinner. “Shaq paid us a surprise visit last night. He brought the family out to Babe’s Chicken for supper. Simply hanging out and having supper with him was a lot of fun.
Again, the NBA player had different ideas, even though this appeared to make the family very pleased. He drove the family to the Mercedes store the following day, where they placed an order for a specially designed 15-passenger van that they should receive in mid-July.
His giving astounded the family, and the children were overjoyed and unable to stop hugging their hero.
Not that Shaq stopped there! The NBA great and the family had supper together once more. At the supper, they said, he brought joy to everyone.
Then he brought us to supper at Rainforest Café, where he covered the entire bill for another table without realizing that they were missionaries from out of state. He then gave our waitress a $1000 tip after her car broke down today, Karissa stated.
Shaq discovered the father of nine was experiencing problems with his truck during their second dinner together. It had been some time since the heating and air conditioning had worked correctly.
Shaq knew right then what he wanted to do. He got dad a new truck at the Ford showroom with the family!
No family could feel so fortunate! They appreciated the time Shaquille O’Neal spent with them as much as his kind presents.
