Nowadays advertising is one of the main facts which is decided market demand for the goods and services. Some people believe that advertising encourages us to buy things that we really do not need. Others believe that advertisements tell us about new products that may improve our lives.
I totally agree that advertisements tell us about new products and those products might improve our life by the improved speed and cost-efficiency.
Some people tend to believe advertising force us to buy goods that we don’t need. Some products like mobile phones always force us to buy them using colorful and attractive advertisements. So people buy expensive mobile devices with so many high-end functions, but they might never use those functions in their day-to-day life. Because of that, Some people say advertising encourages us to buy things that we really do not need.
On the other hand, Some people believe that advertisements improve our lives by introducing good products. Nowadays with technological advancements every day we see new improved versions of electrical items. For example, refrigerators are now so energy efficient. They can change temperature and humidity according to inside foods and can keep them fresh. If we don’t see those advancements through digital or printed advertisements, we will never know about those kinds of technologies. And those technologies make our life easier and save money. Because of that people believe that advertisements tell us new products and may improve our lives.
In conclusion, sometimes advertisement forces us to buy unnecessary things like expensive mobile device and on the other hand advertisement introduce new products like electrical items and makes our life easier. Therefore It is our responsibility to make more intelligent decisions and choose wisely what we need and what want when we see an advertisement.
