Success is something that comes with age and a great deal of practice for the majority of us. Shania McDonagh, on the other hand, is establishing herself as a young artist worth keeping an eye on thanks to the lifelike drawings she creates, which are successfully winning competitions.

An article published on Parentdish states that the Irish teenager, who is 16 years old, has been awarded the prize for the Texaco Children’s Art Competition for the past four years in a row. She has also been awarded a large sum of money, which amounts to $2,075 (€1,500).

In point of fact, it does not appear to be fair to the other contestants to place her in a category that is based on her age.

In this year’s competition, McDonagh was awarded the distinction for her sketch titled “Coleman,” which depicted an Irish fisherman and took a month to create. Her work appears to have been inspired by a photograph that was included in a book titled Vanishing Ireland. She recreated the portrait with remarkable attention to detail.

Not only has her work attracted the viewers of the internet, but it has also captured the attention of art enthusiasts and critics from all around the world.
