USA Death Valley
If Earth is our home, then Death Valley is like a very hot oven. It was 134 °F (56.7 °C) in this beautiful desert, which is the world’s hottest place ever recorded. Death Valley is very hot and sunny, so it doesn’t matter how tough you are. You will exhaust very quickly. You can only stay here for 14 hours without water.
The Desert of Danakil in Eritrea
The Danakil Desert in Africa is one of the harshest places on Earth. It often gets over 120 degrees F (50 degrees C), there are many active volcanoes, and geysers spew poisonous gases. This awful place is probably what most people would call “Hell on Earth,” but brave travelers still come from all over the world to visit. Just remember that you are not allowed to go to the Danakil Desert by yourself or without a trained guide.

Strong winds aren’t the only thing that makes this area dangerous; Mount Washington is also very dangerous because it gets very cold (as low as -40 degrees) and snows all the time. Mount Washington is one of the world’s most dangerous peaks, even though it is only 6,288 feet (1,917 meters) tall. At the top of it, the loads that the body has to deal with are like those that it would face at the top of Mount Everest.

This is an active volcano on the island of Sumatra in Indonesia. This area has a lot of eruptions, which often leave thousands of people without a place to live or a way to make a living. A lot of lava and ash have already covered the nearby towns and villages several times: in 2010, 2013, 2014, and 2015. The most recent blast happened on February 27, 2016. A cloud of volcanic gas, rocks, and ash up to 2,500 meters high was sent up by that explosion and killed many people. Tomorrow, nobody knows what will happen there.

Many people think that this island, which is off the coast of Brazil, is the most dangerous place in the world. This is because this area is full of Bothrops, one of the most poisonous snakes in the world. Scientists think that there are about five snakes living on each square meter of the island. A lot of people have died very quickly at the hands of the dangerous animals. Someone who worked at a lighthouse was attacked by snakes and died in one of these stories. Since that death, Snake Island’s lighthouse has been computerized, and the Brazilian government has made it illegal for anyone to go there.

This place looks beautiful at first glance, but it’s actually very dangerous. Why? Because it has some of the world’s most dangerous and deadly animals and plants. Touching any of the plants that grow in this park can make you very itchy, rash, and dizzy. Parasites from the tropics can get into any cut, even a small one.

One of the most dangerous volcanoes in the world is Erta Ale, which is in the Afar Region of Ethiopia. The area is constantly being shook by small earthquakes, which are creating many deep cracks. This takes place because Erta Ale’s top crater has two lava lakes. They are always changing how much lava is in them, which makes the Earth’s surface shake back and forth.
In Tanzania, Lake Natron
This strange picture is actually of Lake Natron in Tanzania, even though it looks like it belongs on another planet. The alkali salt crust on the lake’s top is so dangerous that anything that touches it dies. Obviously, you can’t swim in this lake, and the strong smell of hydrogen sulfide from the water’s surface will make it hard to enjoy the beautiful scenery for long.
