Thousands of acres of land were burned down by wildfires in California last month. In the middle of the chaos, there have been a lot of animals running for their lives. Among them were a few horses. Some people came right away to help the animals that were stuck in the area that had been damaged.
One of the horses that had been rescued ran back into the fire to help two other horses that had been trapped: a female and a young foal. The people who saw it didn’t believe what they were seeing at first. They have caught the dramatic parts of the movie on film.
Everything that was on its way to being burned down was destroyed by the fire. All of the horses have been saved and put in a safe place, except for 28-year-old Mayer. She had to be put down because she broke both of her front legs while running.
CBS Los Angeles says that the so-called “Easy Fire” caused a lot of chaos in California. Around 30,000 people had to leave their homes because of the disaster. More than 1,000 firefighters from Ventura County have bravely tried to put out the fire, and more than 1,000 of them have succeeded.
