This story made me cry! What Sheep Taught Me

“Last night was sad, but today is better.” The female sheep (ewe) on the left had a stillborn kid, and we couldn’t bring it back to life. After we took away her lamb, she cried most of the night because she missed it.

Last week, the ewe on the right had twins, but they were very small. It looks like she gave one of her babies to the sad mother today to raise as her own. There is a picture of them with their new children here.

 

This is an update on the mom who lost her baby and was given another one by a mom of twins. The lamb follows her around like she’s his real mother and feeds off of her. She cares a lot and looks out for others. After all the ups and downs at BFF in the last few weeks, seeing this makes it all worth it.
