One woman chose a meaningful diversion from the standard wedding rituals and dances. Zoe honoured her parents, Jacque and Chris Ford, with a beautiful celebration of their love on her special day.

Jacque and Chris skipped out on their own first dance by eloping when they were only 18. But on her special day, their little child wasn’t going to let the past dictate her plans. So, Zoe made a heartfelt declaration in front of her loved ones.

Zoe said, “My parents eloped when they were 18 and had a secret wedding, which some of you may or may not know about.” Their very first dance was denied them. As a token of our appreciation for your unwavering support, please accept this gift from us.

After 25 years of marriage, Jacque is taken to the dance floor for her first dance. In addition to making her parents’ dreams come true, this bride’s wedding surprise will be remembered fondly by those who were there.
