Victoria crown pigeon is one of the most beautiful birds ever, and it can get as big as a turkey.
Humans, after all, are attracted to magnificent things. On the other hand, nature has never failed to show us how beautiful it is to be a part of nature and live our lives. Kindly, nature gently touches our hearts. Nature is made up of everything from mountains and trees to animals and tiny bugs. These things are important because they show us what Mother Nature is like and how she can touch our souls. It is a big blue pigeon with blue lace-like crests, a reddish-brown breast, and red eyes. It is called the Victoria crown pigeon because it looks like it is wearing a crown.
These blue pigeons are native to the lowland and swamp forests of northern New Guinea and the other islands in the area. Most of the time, they are found looking for food in pairs or small groups. They move slowly through the forest.
This type of pigeon is a ground bird, but when they get scared, they fly straight up into the canopy or a large horizontal branch of a large forest tree. The birds may stay on their perch for a long time after being disturbed. They make contact calls and flick their tails.
