Researchers have found an agate that has a Cookie Monster hidden inside it when it is cut open.
Geese and gems often catch us off guard. You can never be sure what you’ll find when you crack these rocks open. They have rainbow diamonds and heart-shaped amethysts. In a Brazilian agate, two Cookie Monster twins were found recently, which was a surprise. Mike Bowers, a gem collector, found the rock where the famous Sesame Street figure was hidden with the help of Lucas Fassari. It looks a lot like the famous puppet, right down to the blue face, silly grin, and big googly eyes.
The rare Muppet crystal was found in a small volcanic rock in the shape of an egg. It didn’t say anything about the fact that when it was cut open, two perfect copies of Cookie Monster wrapped in sapphire quartz would be inside. Bowers shared this amazing discovery on Instagram with a video set to the now-iconic song “C is for Cookie,” sung by the king of sweets himself.
Bowers isn’t telling anyone else about the Cookie Monsters just yet. There will be a lot of cookies for him to choose from if he does decide to sell the odd couple. People have been ready to pay up to $10,000 to get the set because of the rare stone and how much it looks like the character.
As the song “C is for Cookie” plays in the background, gem hunter Mike Bowers found a pair of Cookie Monsters in an agate from Brazil.
According to Mr. Bowers, this is most likely the best Cookie Monster ever. I’ve seen others, but this one has it all (both sides). The real person who found it is Lucas Fassari. This is not normal at all! Few agates are as well-known as the owl and the scared face. There are many similar ones, but it’s rare to find one that is so clear and well-defined. Prices may be very high. Five people made offers of more than $10,000. Rare’
